Ky-ManiKy-mani's Marley, who's working towards the completion of his third album that is untitled is definitely a star. Ky-mani Marley was the son of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) and Anita Belnavis (the Jamaican table tennis champion). The singer was born on February 26 1977 in Falmouth. Ky-mani refers to an East African term meaning adventurous journeyer. And as the man who lives up to his name every album, or trip can be described as an adventure. The Journey, his musical journey, began in the year 1999. With an eclectic vision he sought out his uniqueness and travelled the spectrum of music discovering his various talents. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Ky-mani's "traditional" reggae release. It brought out Kymani's maturation. Many More Roads and The Journey were well-received worldwide. The album established Ky-Mani's position as an independent artist. Ky-Mani's style is a mix of reggae roots, layered along with hip hop, R&B as well as contemporary jazz.
