Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny, born February 3, 1950) is an American actress. The actress became popular in the 1970s-80s for her roles as an actress in television series. Her glamorous appearance was frequently the main focus of these series. Fairchild began her career as Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow in a CBS daytime soap that ran from 1973 until 1977. She appeared as Jenna Wade in 1978, the first actress to play Jenna Wade had done so. In the year 1980, she played the role of Jenna Wade in Flamingo Road (NBC), where she received an Golden Globe Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Television Series Drama. She appeared on ABC's brief premiertime soap Paper Dolls and also for Falcon Crest in 1985-86 as Jordan Roberts. Fairchild also appeared in the stage, and also as a guest on TV programs like Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. She was even considered for the Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 for her role in this series. She is on the board of SAG-AFTRA.
