Taylor
Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: A celebrity who has strayed from the world of country music to pop culture and became a pop icon that will endure forever, and sweeping over everywhere. Swift shed the country influences as if they were an additional layer of skin and revealed she was one of the most talented singers/songwriters in the generation she was born into. Swift could make the event personal and use it for her benefit. It was apparent in her early songs, particularly on the neo pay homage to Tim McGraw. On her second release Fearless (2008) Swift revealed a singer/songwriter who was beginning to get acquainted with herself. Fearless was a huge success and not just in the US and six of the singles have been certified platinum on the back of Top Ten hit songs Love Story and Belong with Me. But the album also enjoyed a great reception across the globe. Speak Now delivered almost two years later, which consolidated the success and moved Swift to the heights of fame. The three albums following -- Red 2012 1989, Red 2012 along with Reputation 2017, her success only grew. That was an obvious sign she had moved to a new pop world that she could be part of. Her name was always at the top of pop even when she dropped her style with her sibling albums Folklore and Evermore in 2020.
